Empowering Women in Global Trade

about text image

Women in Export Trade and Investment (WETI) is on a mission to equip women with the skills, resources, and networks needed to thrive in international trade. We believe that by empowering women entrepreneurs, we can drive economic growth, create jobs, and position African businesses on the global stage.

Our vision is to produce at least 200 new women exporters annually by providing expert training, financial support, and access to global markets. We focus on value-added products, ensuring that women-led businesses meet international standards and compete effectively worldwide.

Through cooperative financing, structured business clusters, and strategic partnerships, WETI creates a strong community of female exporters. We are committed to breaking barriers, unlocking opportunities, and making global trade accessible for women across Nigeria and beyond.

Our objectives

01

Women's Empowerment Through Export

We focus on training and supporting women in various sectors, especially agriculture and manufacturing, to help them become successful exporters. Through our cooperative society, we provide financial support and investment opportunities.

02

Strengthening Women-Led Business Clusters

Our structured business clusters, including agriculture, textiles, ICT, and alternative energy, create a supportive network for women. These clusters foster collaboration, innovation, and business expansion, making it easier for women to engage in profitable export activities.

03

Standardization and Market Access

WETI ensures that women-led businesses meet international standards by providing access to test laboratories, processing centers, and certification assistance. We connect members to both local and international markets, helping them scale their businesses efficiently.
