Structure & Operations

Women in Export Trade and Investment (WETI) operates with a comprehensive organizational structure designed to support women in export across Nigeria and internationally.

WETI operates through a decentralized model based on Nigeria's 6 geo-political regions, with presence in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This structure helps us build a strong membership base across the nation, as Regional Operations representatives work with state representatives to identify interested or ready exporters.

We also maintain International Chapters in the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and various African countries.

Business clusters

WETI operates through 7 interconnected business clusters, each focusing on different aspects of export trade:

Agriculture Business Cluster (ABC)

Export Business Cluster (EBC)

Local Production Business Cluster (LBC)

Trade Business Cluster (TBC)

Textile and Fashion Business Cluster (TFBC)

Alternative Energy Business Cluster (AEBC)

WETI Multipurpose Cooperative Society (WETICU)

Membership to WETICU is open to all registered WETI Business Cluster members and women (18+ years) in business,entrepreneurship, trades and farming, interested in the cooperative's objectives.

The cooperative arm of WETI provides financial sustainability through:

  1. Credit facilities for members at fair rates Regular savings
  2. programs Investments in farmland, processing centers, and other
  3. ventures Support for export activities

WETI Multipurpose Cooperative Society (WETICU)

WETI Business Clusters offer three membership categories, Basic membership to regional operations is free, while business cluster membership requires registration.
